The RSHM Sisters have been celebrating the Christmas season at wonderful events around the Convent.
Ballerina
On December 3, we had a visit from Caroline, a ballerina with the Westchester Ballet Company who is performing in the Nutcracker, Sunday, December 15. Caroline shared the story of the Nutcracker, her various roles within the ballet over the years and talked about the history of ballet point shoes.
The Soundettes
On December 4, the Soundettes, an all women acapella group performed once again sharing holiday classics and finished with a guitar accompanied sing along.
Visitors from RSHM LIFE Center
On December 5, after baking dozens of angels, reindeers and stars in Baking Club, the Sisters were joined by the fourth grade class from the RSHM LIFE Center on Friday, December 6th to decorate gingerbread houses. We also had help from a few EF students and a family from Transfiguration Parish. Everyone worked hard to create beautifully decorated houses.
Holiday sing-along
On December 8, Donna Cribari led us all in a holiday sing along. Sisters and Extended Family reminisced about singing with Donna throughout the years. Donna continues to bring so much fun and joy the sing alongs. -Life Enrichment, Susannah Alao and Marianne Walsh
