Saturday, August 27, 2022, was a memorable day for Cormaria. This year, our annual Cocktail Party fundraiser honored SisterAnn Thaddeus Marino for her 40 years of ministry as Director of the Cormaria Retreat House. Some 150 guests, including local townspeople, retreatants, friends, and family, came to celebrate this milestone with Sister Ann.
Sister Rosamond Blanchet, RSHM Eastern American Area Leader, spoke about Ann’s inspiring and dynamic ministry to people of all faiths over these years. In addition to Sister Roz, we were honored to have in attendance, Sister Susan Gardella, RSHM Eastern American Area Councilor and Executive Director of the RSHM LIFE Center; Lisa Field, Chair of Cormaria’s Board of Directors; John Larocca, Mayor of Sag Harbor; Tommy John Schiavoni, Town Councilman; and Fred Thiele, New York State Assemblyman, who presented Sister Ann with a Proclamation from the State of New York honoring her for her 40 years of ministry at Cormaria. Assemblyman Thiele thanked Sister Ann for her mission of hospitality and outreach to people of all faiths and walks of life.
We thank God for the many ways Ann has touched so many lives over these 40 years. May she continue to inspire and assist all who come to Cormaria.

spent a couple of wonderful summers as a young child when it was an overnight camp for women. Sad it no longer exists or that there is no mention of it.
I too spent many years in camp there and was a counselor and the head counselor perhaps we know each other?:)
