Our sisters who are engaged in various types of pastoral ministry are committed to bringing God’s care and compassion to meet the emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual needs of others. RSHM, both active and retired, are hospital chaplains and volunteers, counselors, and Eucharistic ministers. They volunteer at food pantries, schools, and community centers and provide patient and family support in hospice care. Additionally, retreats and programs in spirituality and contemplative practices are offered at our Cormaria Retreat Center.
It is such an awesome experience to pray with the sick and/or dying people, to help them experience God’s very personal love.
Sister Gerry McGinn, RSHM
